Hermannsburg Remote DHS Building

CITE Services were awarded the Electrical, Communications and Security package to a full Design and construct proposal for the new remote Department of Human Services building at Ntaria (Hermannsburg), an aboriginal community 125km West of Alice Springs. The building is constructed using SIPS panels so creating internal penetration for our conceals cables was a first for us, using a heated ball bearing to melt its way down the foam sandwich panels. Power load and lighting distribution designs completed we went on to install in some extreme conditions in the historical town. Working closely with PowerWater Corp new overhead supply poles were bought into the site where we moved underground with metered submains to our MSB.
